You’ve built skills, experience and an impressive portfolio - and those don’t disappear, even after a career break. For our third iteration of the Her World Mentorship Programme, we’re looking to help women reenter the workforce.

Launched in 2023, the Her World Mentorship Programme is a much-anticipated initiative that pairs inspirational women you see on our pages to aspiring achievers. The goal is to provide mentees with valuable guidance from seasoned mentors, helping them navigate both their professional and personal lives with confidence.

“It was amazing to have someone who’s on my side, listening to my challenges, offering tips, calling out pitfalls, and providing an alternative way of thinking,” shares Alicia Lee, 35, a UX designer and mother of two who participated in last year’s mentorship programme, which focused on women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). She was mentored by Carolyn Chin-Parry, PwC’s digital innovation lead.

This year, our group of mentors will consist of women who truly understand the challenges of reentering the workforce. Their advice could help you sharpen your job search and spot opportunities that align with both your experience and expectations.

“Having a reliable network to count on to discuss ideas is so important, and this mentorship programme was able to provide this support for me,” adds Ng Kok Yin, a 27-year-old senior product manager and last year’s Her World Mentorship Programme participant who was mentored by Angela Toy, partner and chief operating officer at Golden Gate Ventures.

Excited to kickstart your journey? Applications are now open and the interviews will happen from February to March. Please note that the 2025 Her World Mentorship Programme will officially start in March and end in October.
